For as long as I can remember, I’ve been in love with clothes—the colors, the textures, the way an outfit could make someone feel seen and beautiful. Even as a little girl, I would sit beside my mother as she stitched, dreaming of creating something of my own one day. But life had other plans. Responsibilities came first, and dreams had to wait. Still, the passion never left me.

Years later, as a mother and a woman who had spent her life caring for others, I realized it was finally time to care for my dream. And that’s how Tilak was born—not from a big business plan, but from a heart full of love for fashion and tradition.
